(Afghanistan & Washington D.C.) President Obama and his advisors are considering sending more troops into Afghanistan. However, the Afghan people have a message for them.

“We’re not kidding,” said Fareed Abdullah, a local schoolteacher. “If the American people don’t want an affordable insurance option that will lower the health care cost for everybody, we’ll take it.

“The Afghan people are not afraid of death panels,” said Hamid Omar, a government spokesman. “Everyone here would rather be healthy a socialist without a grandmother than a dead conservative with one.”

Republicans in Congress have dismissed giving Afghanistan the public option. “These people are speaking out of fear, hunger and an ignorance of the free market system,” said House Majority leader John Boehner. “That’s why we must send in more troops, bombs and Blue Cross.”

Despite the pushback, President Obama is said to be considering the Afghan's offer.

In fact, an anonymous White House source said President Obama has a plan that would finally allow him to set up a socialist utopia. The plan is for Obama to leave the U.S. and become president of Afghanistan. “All he needs is an Afghani birth certificate,” added the source. “And trust me, that won’t be hard to get.”
