Undecided Man Can’t Choose Between Eggplant Or Aged Irish Cheddar Pizza

30 years later, things haven’t changed much. Scott still has trouble making up his mind. The eighth year college senior has changed majors seven times, moved twice this year and waffled between girlfriends Betty and Veronica.
But last Friday, Scott had another problem. He was all ready to spend the final 15 bucks from his IRS stimulus check on a steaming pie of pizza, but he couldn't decide what kind. “Now I’ve narrowed it down to two choices," said Scott into the phone, while also wondering if his new three-bedroom apartment was too small. "I’m stuck between eggplant and aged Irish cheddar.”
“The eggplant sounds good, but I’ve never had it before. And I’m not sure I’m ready for a change. But change is good, right?…Maybe it’s time to turn the page on that old Irish cheddar….Yep that’s what I’m going to do…change,” said Scott before he hug up.
“But then again I’ve had a lot a good experiences with that old Irish cheddar,” said Scott five minutes later. “We have a history that spans over 26 years. It’s comfortable, safe…Should I stick with what I know?…Man, why is this so hard?”
Ten minutes later Scott was again on the line. “Is there really a big difference between the two pizzas? What’s the big deal if I choose the wrong one? Is the world going to end? Plus, if I don’t like my decision, I could just order another pie in like four hours, right?…I’m going to make a decision right now…I’ll call you back after I eat that decision.”
12 minutes later the phone rang. “I’ve made a decision, I think,” said Scott. “What if I order a pizza with both eggplant and the old Irish cheddar? Doesn’t that sound delicious? I mean, why not go down a different, yet not so different ,road and make the two flavors work together to solve my hunger?…That sounds like a solid plan. I’m doing just that…Now, what am I going to drink, Alaska Amber Ale or Delaware’s Dogfish Ale?…Decisions, decisions.”
