Gay Baby Looking Forward To Gay Marriage

iStock_000002177222XGayBaby.jpg(San Francisco, CA) Yesterday, the California Supreme Court overturned a voter initiative banning same-sex marriage. Its 4-to-3 decision will pave the way for California’s gays and lesbians to legally marry. And no one is more excited than Charlie J, a 9 month-old gay baby.

“Mom, Dad, I’m gay, and I can’t wait to have a big gay wedding,” is what Charlie told his parents, while they were watching CNN’s coverage of the ground breaking gay news.

Charlie’s parents, Kevin and Melanie both Mensa members, were shocked…and relieved.

“I’m so glad that Charlie’s finally talking,” said Kevin. “I mean, Mel and I were talking at 6 months. So we’re just happy he’s not a dumbass.”

“Right. And the gay thing’s no big deal. In fact it’s refreshing,” said Melanie. “I think it’s great that Charlie knows what he wants, and can now, thanks to the California Supreme Court, focus on getting it.”

“I agree,” added Kevin. “Plus now we don’t have to worry when down the road Charlie starts to spend most of his time in a steam room.”

Charlie doesn’t know if he’ll be a steam room kind of gay or if he’s going to marry a top or a bottom, but what he does know is that he wants a beach wedding. “And when that day arrives, I hope and pray Elton John is still alive. Because I so want him to play there.”
